Genuinely surprised this thread went as long as it did with no Bobby Beausoleil invocations.

is this the worst album ever made?

For the record, the Mad Professor Massive Attack record is far worse than any of their regular albums.

    Neon Screams!

"Poland" is a great one. Kind of hope it gets tweaked into a single. Need a better single for this 'rage' music than "Miss The Rage".

I'm listening to 'Around the World in A Day'

Anyway this is the version of America I'm talking about. Truly a dickhead moment of supremacy to tell MTV "Hey, you should play this 10 minute music video of me doing a live jam of one song"

I'm listening to 'Around the World in A Day'

Dirty Mind is easily his worst album. It reveals a true perversity in a lot of music fans that when they want to approach Prince 'objectively' they cite that as the one. I can't help that I have better comprehension of Prince than 99% of people (his fans included!)

    Brooklyn Drill

Oh, the one song I posted earlier "Juliet". And "Neeky" is just a negative adjective I used to hear in grime sets (maybe it's actually from Jamaica first so hey)

    Brooklyn Drill

This music is impossible to debate in public of course because then it becomes issues of 'debt', 'influence', 'ownership' and it becomes a fucking shitshow. I've had enough fights with fellow Americans because I put on for UK Drill that I'd rather jump off a building than try to speak on those...

    Brooklyn Drill

This is extremely hard to prove in a concrete way and when you tell this to Americans like... Me personally, I get where people are coming from if they have this Dance background approach because I studied how this realm interprets things parallel to how rap audiences interpret things. But I...

Once again, this is a forum of people who thought Kano was a great MC at one point in his life so I question what you guys are hearing.

    Brooklyn Drill

Anyway "off beat" is a silly thing to say, rappers don't have to be 'on beat'. I can't believe guys who listened to NASTY Crew think people have to be on beat.

    Brooklyn Drill

In many ways this Fivio Foreign single accidentally points at to where the genre is going just because very obviously a lot of the NYC rappers are stuck in very post-Migos rap patterns but additionally Fivio just incidentally invoking DJ Assault's "Ass & Titties" is just the briefest flitter of...

    Brooklyn Drill

It's funny hearing about how These Voices And Flows are Bad from first generation grime fans tbh. Not even being catty there. I can't prove any of this because I don't like following BX/BK drill too much, mostly because the experience of contemporary music digging is more anxiety inducing than...

    the house Renaissance

It's more about enabling an old stoner's tantrums because we liked things he wrote 20 years ago. We don't have to indulge this crying about writer consensus not matching his own. Nobody's forcing any of you to read album reviews.

    the house Renaissance

It's not really a Funky song, it's a song Funky rediscovered and claimed but also you don't like good things. Besides it's got dancehall strings and you wanna call it "Middle Manager Sexy Ibiza People" music smh. You keep this up you're going to end up as miserable as this bunch. I just gave...

    jungle remixes of non-jungle artists

I don't respect cowardice. Why do you think I had that history of making poor Corpsey get anxiety? Hell barty will probably never post on here again out of the terror that I'll tear his splifftisies apart again.

To be honest I'm genuinely wondering if making it an unfinished ruin is more appropriate than completing it.
