It's you who are constantly fixating on every aside. to recap:

communism does not conform to a "barbarian ideal". on the contrary, communism is inherently a civilisational project. to be specific, communism arises from intellectual currents within european civilisation and seeks to "complete" civilisation. it is not antagonist to civilisation

this is the problem with euros they are so philosophically unsophisticated. communism is the *negation* not the antagonist of civilisation. just like it is the negation of democracy, not it's opposition. communists who are antagonists are implicated in the bourgeois spectacle and are useless idiots, just like your islamist mates. that's why they will be swept up like little clucking clouty hens in the next storm.

anyway i answered that question. often it is the labourists who will be the most antagonistic to communism, to retain their privileges over lower strata of the class, that sector stripped of all worker honorifics and made into pure proletarians.

this was marx's underestimation. but communism is a condensation of time sequences not the fancy of an old man. was a cigar connoisseur, though. todays communism has as much to do with libertarian socialism and certain strands of councillism and anarchism as it does orthodox Marxism.
