Couple of weeks. I still need to finish the others, I can't even remember where I got up to.

My girlfriend has only seen it patchily so we're watching through a lot of it again at the moment... to be honest it gets samey/predictable if you watch too much of it in one go but when it nails it it's better than anything else.

Yeah, watching a couple of seasons relatively quickly curbed my enthusiasm.

The thing is, after I watched it I struggled to watch other things cos they seemed so staged in comparison, you can see the way they walk to the front to deliver their lines or whatever, Curb is very naturalistic in comparison - as well as being good. A combination that is hard to pull off.

Anyone watching it? Good stuff so far. He's going big.

Seen the first one... very funny at times but I think they made him a bit too aggressive and some of it didn't ring as true as earlier seasons. Was funny that my girlfriend was saying how much Jeff looked like Harvey Weinstein just seconds before they made that joke.

Yeah thats a classic. I think the struggle for me is how old they all are now. In this second episode, it looks like richard lewis’ face might fall off if he talks too much.

Yeah, we kept mentioning that... but I don't have a problem with that. That's life, people get older, most don't change that much, it's still believable that they would carry on in the same way with the inevitable consequences.

To be fair, he is in his 70s.

Surprising thing is that LD looks the same. Cant believe its 20 years old. I liked the MAGA hat gag from episode 1.

Yeah I enjoyed that whole thing.
The guy who played Funkhauser is dead isn't he? I found it quite poignant when I happened to see the episode recently in which Funkhauser gets divorced, he says he realised that if he didn't do it he would have to spend another twenty years with this boring woman - and I thought "No you wouldn't".
