    Default "... we suffer from great temporal homesickness for the decade we were born in.

    What do you reckon? I know I do, but I'm wary of taking personal experience as universal. I definitely have a particular affinity for the 90s, the fashion, the music, the films. Everything really. It really does feel like home and it's an unpleasant feeling getting further and further away from it.

    I don't have the same nostalgia for the period when I hit my teens, it's just whatever. I assume that's to do with how formative your first few years are. I respond to stuff now I would have been too young to have really been conscious of at the time. It must have just seeped in. Osmosis.

    I don't care tbh. people used to listen to or (watch) the same classical pieces for over 50 years. Beware of capitalisms hyper consumer deathtrap always obsessed with the new.
