Digital DJ Controllers: Hercules vs Berhinger 2000

In a bit of a conundrum. As someone without a lot of cash Im looking for a midi controller for use with Traktor 2.6. I've exhausted my bed room Djing and want to get something with a sound card and external controls so at least I've the option of playing out. At a limited budget what should I get? Both of these controllers come recommended. I know one person who uses a Hercules quite well, but the net reviews sometomes shit all over it and at other times rave about it. The Berhinger is pretty much the same in terms of critical response on the net. Any ideas? Remember I'm using Traktor 2.6. If there are any other recommendations they are well welcome, mainly I want a good controller with onboard soundcard for previewing.

i'm using the Berhinger 2000 and find it very much adequate.

i've never used anything other digital dj controls though so i don't have anything to compare it against. certainly no complaints here though!

behringer stuff is usually quite fragile IMHO, to be honest a small midi keyboard with some control knobs and faders will go a long way, and i know that novation make one with soundcard functionality as well.

faderfox make some interesting products for traktor, though they're not usb powered which could prove frustrating...

update: this forthcoming from kenton midi looks the proverbial dogs' for ableton/traktor at least
