Tibet is not China

Watch what you say about ...

Can't condone the sentiment expressed by Stone,
but if one wants to do business in a China the CCP struggles to 'control' ...
A tiny, possibly stupid incident, coming from a known 'Western' activist actor,
and so bound to rile the authorities - but in the 24/7 glare of instant global 'news the reaction feels like the CCP response team is whipped up by now into a flailing out at anything mode ...

Between the Tibet situation brought to some kind of a head,
the whole Olympic torch debacle,
and now the rising rising anger of parents who lost their single child in the earthquake due to shoddy school buildings ,
I begin characterizing the situation as the 'CCP's struggling to control' what's going on.
Crack beginning to show -
with more to come ?
Some kind of 'storm' of events ,
and all still before the Olympics actually open

I keep using parentheses because we have certain actors and nation states playing their roles
in a not quite real arena , all jostling to win popular opinion and / or control minds ,
cliches all around.

Ms. Stone obviously subscribes to the Glenn Hoddle School Of Offending Huge Numbers Of People By Spouting Half-Baked Notions Based On Minsunderstood Concepts From Eastern Religions.

Shot partially in the derelict Olympic Stadium, now truly a 'Birds Nest'.
'Discarded Uniforms, worn Red Flags, Coke cups, old tix dusting in the corners ...'
