The Cover. As hinted early on in the podcast, Dr. Stereo had been called to a pink themed social and apparently the only thing he could find was a womens top. Unfortunately he wouldn’t change into it on the podcast so I had to seek him out with Romford and Pesho. We caught up with him at one of Aberystwyths finest club venues and after taking the photos I needed I quickly made my excuses and left, but Romford and Stereo stayed. They witnessed many atrocities that night, most of which I wouldn’t repeat on this post. Romford was hit on by a very persistent rugby lad whose words of wooing included: “Check out my bicep” and “You’re one of the top 5 hottest girls in here tonight”

Next week there will be no Chococast but on Friday (16/03) there will be a studio mix featuring only tracks from Chocolate Chip. e.g. Driscoll, Gold Bloom, Levi Kage + others, and the release of the Gold Bloom Stress Relief music video.

We are just 1 episode away from hitting the big five-oh, and sadly, 1 episode away from saying goodbye to the Chococast Wales crew. However there will be time, posts and video contemplating this fact further in the future, for now, here is the penultimate episode from Wales.

Duke and Chilled come dressed ready for a house party with the theme “Highly paid professionals and condiments”, Guppy Slim tells a joke that leaves us silent for an uncomfortable period of time and Romford arrives late with a suspicious stain on her shorts.

The cover photo is from a particularly sunny day in March. Romford convinced me to spend sometime in daylight for once. A move she soon regretted when a BBQ was organised for later that day and she had to be seen shopping for meat with me in Iceland. She was so embarrassed by my purchase she refused to queue up for the same checkout as me. The BBQ was going well until the tide started to reach dramatic heights. Fortunately Dr Stereo is a seasoned geographer, aswell as a badman Drum and Bass DJ, and managed to calm us all down by constantly reminding us of the apparent “sedimentary analysis” he had undertaken earlier that ensured us the tide would not take our lives.

This week is much a less lonely affair than the last as Levi and myself are joined by Ryan, Str8 Girl and the infamous Bertie Cakes.
I’m very sorry about the incomplete tracklist, it appears my hastily scrawled notes became damaged in an incident involving Levi and a bottle of Dr Pepper. I will hopefully be able to glue the pieces back together using cranberry juice by next week.

As Bertie was in the building we decided to conduct a vigorous interview to find out how he’d been doing since the release of his mixtape. As you can see from the cover Levi decided to bring in some props that now remain scattered about the office. The play doe was put to good use throughout the episode, at one point it engulfed a fork for stability.

In this episode Levi is consumed by the thoughts of Slender Man after someone decided it would be a good idea to try it out before we started recording. Grimey reveals how he plans to balance the work-life struggle of a full time waiter and recording artist, and spills the details on his forthcoming mixtape. Meanwhile Oli tries to tell us that he isn’t going to uni to do Golf Management studies.

After a massive hiatus the Chococast returns for the Christmas season. Before recording the podcast we watched 2 absolutely unmissable films which I just can’t recommend enough.

John Carpenters “The Fog”



and cult classic “Cyborg 3” which pretty much looked like this. In fact this bedroom reenactment of the film features substantially better acting than that featured in the actual movie.



During the course of the episode Romford reveals she is not the statistician that we all thought she was. Dr Stereo makes a heartbreaking announcement and tells you the answers to a competition in the UKs first long boarding magazine (which he pretty much wrote and is featured on the front cover, so go cop that.) Both of them just came back from Central America the day before we recorded and shared a few stories of their adventure.
