What is music writing 'cool' today?

I did a blog and tom lea (who used to be on here) liked it and asked me to do a review for fact magazine... And my glamorous career spiralled from there

His spats on ilx with Tim Finney were the stuff of legend. In general I sided with him even if his detroit purism could be insufferably incoherent and logically inconsistent sometimes. People like Finney will lap up whatever garbage shat out of someones ketamine infected bladder at Watergate and rationalise it like true bourgeois dilettantes. It's the Australian disease.

Looked this guy up after seeing this tweet. He reacts then reviews mostly rap albums. The reaction videos are often over 90 minutes, and the reviews are then around 10-20 min. Who is watching this, who is sitting through a 2 hour reaction to an album? YouTube is so baffling to me, I’m legitimately curious what the length retention on this guy’s page is.

I want to publicly apologise for not giving this song the respect it deserved when it was being played at all the 2008 indie discos. I was blind, but now I see.
