Some kind of girls' night thing. Liza is playing allone all night from 11pm until 3am.

Cosmos - Sat 29th October
Invisible Sounds together back at Cosmos with guest the gorgeous Mimi back in the country and back behind the decks. Plus on visuals the equally gorgeous Pedro Antunes

Fri November 4th Ferro Bar - Porto
Invisible Sounds all night once again - the next incarnation of our killer residency as we bash the bollocks out of this little cellar from 11pm until about 5am I think it is - hopefully using your fucking tunes (see here https://dissensus.com/index.php?threads/17148/#post-676363)

Sat November 5th Torto - Porto
Invisible Sounds ie Lizatron and Idle Rich play from 11pm until about 3am I guess hopefully using your fucking tunes (see here https://dissensus.com/index.php?threads/17148/#post-676363)


Sat 12th November - Jazz Dao in the Central Miradouro thing near Martim Moniz
Loads of DJs, bands, visuals, food etc this party has grown from a few nerdy nerds playing low-key jazz sounds to a nerdy audience on a Sunday evening, to a banging two floor raving rave extravaganza with any nerds that do come being thrown off the roof sadly (which I don't condone but it's looks cool) . The top floor is the roof and below that is this weird huge abandoned room with a mezzanine right up against a massive window gifting you a view of the whole of Almirante Reiss - last time was rocking and this time should be better.

Just a reminder that we've reached this part of our schedule. Ferro Bar is always pretty much my favourite gig of the month and I'm looking forward to this time particularly - making some cheese and pickle sangers for the bus, they're putting us up in the Selina Hotel, and I'm gonna be trying to play a few songs off USB for the first time ever. Got tracks from @bunnyhausen and @Mr. Tea of this parish loaded and ready to go and I really can't wait to see how it all goes down...

And Saturday we cool off with the always more mellow Torto Porto which is a swanky bar with some ridiculous food - if you happen to be in town come and say hello. Shame you definitely won't be really.

I actually spoke to that guy for a bit he's from US, was sat with an Aussie, a Scottish guy... sounds like the start of a joke but sadly not.

He was talking about beer cosies, saying that when he was in Australia he said they're to keep beer cold but a local said "No cunt, they're to keep your hand warm" - apparently it was the most Australian thing he'd ever seen.

Jazz Dao is cancelled. The two guys who run it have fallen out and Vanja messaged everyone saying that Tolga is helplessly addicted to coke and noone can work with him so the event is cancelled.... but Tolga claimed Vanja had lost it, locked him out of accounts and was trying to sabotage it by telling everyone it was no more.

I'm seeing Tolga as Al Pacino at the end of Scarface, sitting in his mansion snorting from a huge pile and insisting it's still on while angry band members and DJs who have infiltrated the complex close in on him....

The venue decided they couldn't work with them anyway and ended it.

But

At least one of the bands and some of the DJs (me and Liza) are gonna play at Cosmos on the same night and try and resurrect as much of the night as possible so, er, see you there.

I actually uploaded some clips from Ferro in case anyone is interested.... this is @Mr. Tea 's tune




I have a friend who plays drums in a garage band called Anarchicks... but she made this kinda post-punk tune in her spare time which I think is really good and I played it out for the first time the other day







And here are some clips of when Liza was playing some weird LIthuanian disco stuff I think










It is a really fun thing to play your mates' tunes and although I can barely figure out what I'm doing with the MP3s (with Ollie's tune, I thought I'd mixed it perfectly in the headphones but when I brought it in I was actually bringing in the wrong channel so no-one heard it) there is a huge plus point to them there.

Thanks mate, it was a lot of fun. If people send me more stuff I will really take a lot of pleasure in playing it and videoing it so they can see. It would be better to do longer clips, and in future I will try and do that if possible.
