I've got two early bird "opening" tickets but it's a shit show
so poor

I've paid but I have to wait until October 13th before I can chance on the day I actually want to go and I may have had to leave the country if I can't secure the slot

even oasis was better organised than this joke of a world stage

this was the worst booking system I have ever encountered

first I had to register an EXPO ID just to log in to the booking site

but no, I have to also register my preferred 2FA method - no way are they having my fingerprints!

ok, I can just use a fake email address...

but then once that is done I have to navigate the crazy list of ticket options

so I'm only going to be in Osaka for the opening week so I'll plump for "early bird opening" 2 tickets

oh, that's 8 thousand yen

that's about 43 UK sterling so I can afford it

but NO!
I've paid for tickets but I can't pick a date until 6 months before the opening date

how am I supposed to plan my holiday when I don't know what day I can visit expo 2025?

fucking joke - I've paid money! LET ME PICK A DAY!

is this meant encourage international visitations?



no wonder Russia, Mexico and some other countries have pulled out of this fiasco

I love OSAKA

it's like Manchester but in Japan - dirty, grimey, you can smoke where you want and just jaywalk wherever unlike uptight Tokyo

but this shit is frustrating, I can sort out my incense making class now but I can't pick a day to visit the shitty expo even though I've spunked 40 quid

even Universal Studios Osaka let's me choose a date BEFORE I pay

Not me. But I went to TOKYO ROBOT EXPO in 2016:



The stand girl introduced me to the SERVOTRON unit, which simpered, "HELLO, MY NAME IS HARUTO...HUMANS AND ROBOTO ARE BEST OF FRIENDS!" I said, "What a clever little fellow!", just to impress her - then, when she went to get me some brochures, I grabbed its ear and said, "Listen you little shit...talk to me like that again and I'll pull your head off." They also had an interesting interactive robot therapy seal.

Free noodles as well.

last year we went to a family restaurant, gusto, in Tokyo and they had this little fellow delivering food to the tables





this little guy in Nishishinjuki metro station was not a lot of help, but I liked the "do not touch the robot sign"
