You are mistaken to a degree, because these ongoing wars have painted everyone in the corner as far as their ideological consistency and morals are concerned. Of course, that is if you see the Palestine conflict in relation with Ukraine - Russia conflict which I do and you should too. You essentially have few increasingly contradictory positons:

1) Pro-Palestine and pro-Russia
Fairly large segment of the right, because of their anti-semitism. But at the same time - loads of further left tankie types. So horseshoe basically.
Also, some of the staunchest defenders of Palestine, Norman Finkelstein explicitly (Russia has historic right to invade Ukraine, google it), Chomsky covertly (Ukraine should give up its territory to appease Russia), Chris Hedges stupidly (war was a NATO provocation) etc.

2) Pro-Israel and Pro-Ukraine

Western liberal establishment at large, also most people adjacent of the said establishment who are otherwise very liberal as far sexual mores and issues related to multiculturalism are concerned. So I don't know why you singled out that support for Israel as something inherently right wingish.
But, yeah, also neocons, antlancisists and all sorts of 80s throwbacks.

3) Pro-Ukraine and Pro-Palestine
Large segment of the bleedin' heart liberals and not-so-far lefties who are - because of this - now coming into conflict with the aforementioned establishement which before this calamity has accommodated their every whim as far as cultural issues are concerned at least.
Also some ethnonationalists, interestingly enough. Richard Spencer is one example that comes to mind.

4) Pro-Russia and Pro-Israel
Large segment of American dissident right, even Trump himself to a large extent, to say nothing about his lard-ass sidekick JD Vance. But this has caused similar conflict within right circles as it has caused within liberal status quo (going back to point one)

I do think this meme is pretty much accurate. Although, historically speaking, if you go really, really right at the end of the right spectrum you should have a tiny sliver of pro-Ukraine/pro-Palestine position (I've seen that version somewhere, but cannot find it anymore):

But, indeed, culture war has ended in a sense, because now shit is actually getting serious and is much more high-stakes game. And, of course, I don't know what's your defintion of right and what it means to lose and how and what they have lost, but if you've been paying attention to what's happening on the continent lately - quite rapidly and with increasing intensity - you may have to revisit your opinion.

the Right sit among ’problematic’ groups too, say a nation state’s spezial forces units (and not just adidas)

eg I thought Germany’s example had led to this entire unit being disbanded but it turns out nooo, they just shuffled their deck

the culture war is still more problematic than just Twitter bs because the last generations to remember WWII are all, near enough, gone and we have collectively forgotten damage at scale, war at scale

Ukraine is “over there”, Gaza is ”over there”, the US *points in different direction* is over there, Brexit is ah right here but the point being they can all still converge

re Sweden that must mean each immigrant is a $34,000 net loss at least.

exactly these sort of contortions show that the war is over, turn around / Lay your weapons on the ground / The smoke is fading before the light / The dead are coming back to life. etc etc

yeah, the right still exists and still rules a lot of scenes, these examples show they have nothing left apart from ethics-free victimisation,

Germany, Sweden, Denmark and Poland all have either liberal or social democratic govermets; Holland is the only exception on that list.

Yeah but they are still authoritarian bullies pandering to the right
as everybody knows, punitive immigration policies make no ethical, economic or logical sense

bandz ahoy
I read somewhere that heroin chic is back in and models are again starving themselves to fit into dresses

And I sighed serenely and muttered 'the balance is restored' to myself

What do you mean by punitive? Do you mean by punitive punishing the host population with ne'er-do-wells no longer wanted by their own countries? That sounds a bit harsh.

The lower orders turn right because of competition for work and it won't be long before the sub-Russell Group middle classes does the same once they realise the reason they can't get the job they trained for after graduation is because they're competing with the whole of Europe, and they haven't been given the language skills to work abroad. Unis are closing because people don't see the benefit at the end of the degree.

Sweden's government may be notionally 'liberal' but the biggest party in the ruling coalition is the right-wing populists, who are also the second-biggest party overall in the Riksdag.
