i would say that "human rights" = just society, goes without saying, but it's not a goal so much as a standard

likewise environmental sustainability (preferably not aimed at sustaining humans but the actual environment), is a prerequisite not an objective

someone said that the humans have this irresistible promethean urge to develop more and more technology, which could align with a species mission,
it's a pity that a high tech is largely occupied by the warmongers
