utility poles and no sidewalk are the first things that i notice. the second photo looks like the road a teenage boy could live that would skateboard his way to highschool, a bart simpson type of street. the houses look quite new but that tree is massive and looks to be many years old, so they built this little suburb in a forest maybe? furthermoore we can see a bit more details of the house in the last image, i find the two outdoor wall lamps an interesting stylistic choice, looks kinda gothic and out of place, i guess a serial killer could live there.

I was watching CharlieBo 313 navigate the "hoods" of Milwaukee tonight with my best friend and she commentated on how the trees were cut to accommodate the THIRD WORLD / CRAP IN THE SKY overhead cabling

CharlieBo 313 - Hoods of Milwaukee

if I was WILLIAM KENT I would bore you with tales of how my brother took a wrong turn after visiting the amazing Milwaukee art gallery and we ended up cruising through SECTION 8 housing

Milwaukee doesn't really count. It's basically Sheffield.

it's the only place I've been in the"USA" ( if was WILLIAM KENT )

MILWAUKEE IS AMERICA

as far as I, if Was"WILLIAM KENT", is concerned

don't tell me you are a "I don't care if it is a fly over state" yank!
No im saying the opposite. Milwaukee is closer to nyc than it is to America

A Liniment's Evil Work
I took these photos yesterday.
small, isolating southern town (the smallest town I've ever lived in - not even a decent indian restaurant, very depressing) in a small suburb in that small town
and I see more nasty insects and reptiles and amphibians here even though it's not much farther south than somewhere else I've lived, or even considering that I once lived in Florida for a year
as you can see by the vegetation in the second photo, it's very subtropical with unbearably hot and humid summers

Void Dweller
at some point when i was a kid my dad picked up american prospects from the library. we must've only had it for a few weeks but it had a huge impact on my imagination of america. not deep-rooted vernacular communities but shallow autogenerated sprawl. infinite permutation across the outer surface of the continent's biomes generating endless pockets of mundane strangeness.

etc.

this one in particular used to get me, desperately wanted to go to the clearing at the top of the hill w/ the small pines:

i have wanted to do a photo tour of Sprawl Zone #443555435 where i live for a while, thanks for the encouragement

posted a few photos on twitter a while ago but they're woefully inadequate, leave out tons of crucial stuff like SEA GATE and Eric Richards...
