so who has indulged in "litrpg"?
i followed an odd msm recommendation (in the FT!) and ended up enjoying DCC1,
i almost gave up after the first few chapters when i realised there was no Choose Your Own Adventure-style gimmick and that it's just a straight narrative, but just in time some character development occurred and the back story began to elaborate and i stuck with it, tbh its really easy to read, and full of japes - the style is fanfic, & the rpg element imho heavily outweighs the lit, and i probly missed a lot of gamer in-jokes...
think Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy meets Doom
i'll look for a random quote for the random quotes thread
