It makes me wonder if catalog started this thread just to dig at you. "Let's all celebrate luka's great ideas, list them out." Resounding silence from the board. Catalog never follows up, never mentions any of his own picks

I was too spannered last night to write a proper post, I was hoping someone else would pick up the baton.

Then this morning, I was gonna write out docking as thought it were a socratic dialogue, but I got sidetracked doing my webshite.

So you end up with a whole other biography. This other that was steering your skeleton. That you have no memory of or influence over. A dual biography

Good run

And obviously we all act out of spite and irritability and frustration but you want to keep a basic ethic of serious engagement. Do I understand what has been said and can I add something useful? Is my comment adding something worthwhile to this thread, building on what's already there, or is it defacing it? Have I taken the trouble to actually read what has been written?

It's difficult at the moment cos we can't understand the Americans at all. They're from another planet and we feel threatened and therefore hostile.

I joined the forum once I gleaned that its leader was sort of like the London iteration of that guy Hamilton from Vice

how old are you Martin? you always seem strangely insulated from the world you live in. the only times i've seen you i've been reeling drunk but you look my age if not younger. surely you played streetfighter as a kid?
well fucking thanks for that luka, i've built a blog about going out and interviewing people beyond "my world" so thanks for the par.

but no i havent played streetfighter, beyond about the age of 14 computer games dropped off my radar, as music crept in. i quite like them but they never grabbed me.

ah nah, not in a bad way, just in an intriguing way. i've just noted a couple of instances where you seem to have just discovered something which i would have assumed would be in the blood of a londoner of my age (29). eg, streetfighter 2 which came out when i was 11 and was the most played game around by a long way. (before console days remember) i just wondered why. and you're being modest i think. you seem to have built a career not a blog....
