He seems made for for it. For better or worse, most impressive US politician maybe since Obama, in terms of actually being genuinely intelligent rather than just instinctive and cunning like Trump.
The democarts don't have anyone renotely approaching his level at this point, so it seems likely it will happen. The way Trump let him pile on zelensky in 'that' meeting points in that direction.
I'm not endorsing him, you can just tell. I cant make a frigging list! I don't follow it all that closely. I think it's pretty clear he stands out from the rest though.
He's allegedly Thiel's guy in the administration. I suppose he's fairly canny and a decent operator as he's managed to worm his way to the top, but he's as cynical as the rest of them. It wasn't that long ago he was calling Trump an idiot and comparing him to Hitler.
He looks a likely Republican candidate, assuming they don't pull something to try for a third Trump term. Impossible to say whether he would actually win the presidency though. Who knows what state the country will be in four years from now.
Yeah, probably. He definitely benefits from coming off as the relative voice of reason when you stick them next to each other. A lot of people warmed to him after seeing his Rogan interview during the campaign and commented on how direct and normal he seemed for a politician.
