iis this even a good song? im not 100 percent sure i can say so despite my solid rating, but i respect the obscurity of it, i like the thumbnail and it shows that reggae fans like dylan and are aware and influenced by his music

from their "difficult second album"

13th Floor Elevators - Baby Blue

9/10.... i loved this.... the original has a very singular "end of times" feel to it in terms of the destruction of self and relationships becoming lost, but this brings a grander feel to that destruction and end of times feel.... the meandering improvinisational feel to the guitar tone reeling in the background helps with that.... this is a song you could put over footage of Apocalypse now instead of the Doors' the end song....

Manfred Mann - The Mighty Quinn

this was a huge UK hit in the late 1960s

I once saw them on their ill fated 1980s comeback tour at Bracknell Sports Centre, this was their highlight tune

Poster Children - Isis

I only own this because it is on the same CD as the extended version of David Lynch's "Pink Room" magnum opus

the first time I've listened to it is just now, I'm veering between ambivalent / hate it

edit: "hate it", will never listen again
