Okay, not foie gras, exactly, I don't think this the age of gourmet record covers. And as I say, much less certain of my opinions when it comes to the visual. But these struck me as nice-looking, intriguing.

You don't immediately avert your eye and you may even want to gaze at it for a moment or two, just to figure what's going on, what is it trying to say....

I can't remember who this is - some electronic musician I think

actually I believe it is someone who goes as Soft Power

That's Tim Reaper and someone else (Dwarde?).

It's like some children's book illustration - what relation it has to the music I've no idea

Playboi Carti - this is not something I would want on my wall or on a T-shirt but as a stark faintly megalomaniacal gesture I think it works

The Parental Advisory sticker - not sure that mars it or actually improves it

Another meal based cover cf. James Blake

Not sure about that font and the typography color but cute photo of scowling child (presumably the artist as child?). The atmosphere of another time...

What's that pile of... cabbage ribbons? - doing on the table then...

This one is borderline ugly but I like the Radio Shack price sticker and the wearing mark left by the record shape when vinyl has been crammed together for a long time (there's some technical record dealer term for that right?)

Kind of amazed DJ Vadim is still soldiering on 20-plus years past the moment but then does anyone retire in this business?

I don't know what counts as "today" - I was gonna post something but then realized it's already 10 years old!
