I don’t think there is a nation on the planet that didn’t engage in violent coercion at best.
Most of them took the land they stand on via killing every male of fighting age and enslaving the rest of the population.

The difference here is it’s happening in real time. 120 years ago it would be a footnote.
My objection, beyond the genocidal behavior is that they’re doing it with my tax dollars, making me tacitly complicit.

What part of Europe are you in?
If English, when was the last time you bumped into a Breton, or if further north a Pict?

I really don’t understand how this issue is even controversial to you.
In the 1980’s the cause celeb was apartheid in S. Africa. The South African government were saying things like ‘why us’ look what’s happening in Romania.
The 60’s generation (rightly) was against the Vietnam war. Do you see what I’m saying?

Do you think the term Native American unfairly implies that they have first dibs on America? Should they be called "the beaten people"?

Native Americans are not a monolith, but they (as a people) deserve and should have better recompense than most have recieved.

Entertainment by Gang of Four is one of my favorite all time LP’s.
Aside from the cover art on the LP/EP’s no substantive references to the American crimes against the indigenous population come to mind.
References to the UK’s heavy handed approach to the troubles in the North of Ireland are clearly referenced without ambiguity.

As a favor to you though, I’ll call up my close friend Trump and see what we can do about the situation. It may take some time. We communicate through an intermediary named Q, so be patient. In the meantime I’m back to hunting for left wing child sex run cults reported to exist in DC Pizzareia basements that are built on properties without basements, so it’s tiresome work.

Not at all. It is one of my favorite albums & bands of all time.
If you were referring to the track ‘Return the Gift’ that’s a pretty ambiguous statement that can be interpreted as directed at any settler colonial nation, Canada, Australia, NZ, the U.S….
I always interpreted it as a far more personal song than a criticism of America.

But obviously America can be criticised on that basis, and obviously rights and wrongs don't conveniently lapse over time with a crime of this magnitude.

The US should have decolonised along with the rest of the British empire, but it had gone rogue and thrown its moral compass into the sea along with all those tea bags.

True, but as I’ve said earlier; I doubt their is a nation on the planet (including First Nations/native Americans) who haven’t engaged in the same behavior.
You’re making an argument for repatriation, no? Let’s set some base lines at least.
What is the statute of limitations on land claims? 2000 years, 200 years, ?
It seems to me you are just obfuscating & trying to detract attention away from a real time industrial scale massacre that you seem to support.

But you can't point to the people were supposedly displaced by the Native Americans, so there is no equivalent claim to consider.

Obv whataboutery and "oh look at that pretty kitten over there" also totally irrelevant.
