3D spectral analysis software

Does anyone know of a decent three dimensional spectral analysis program (preferably Mac)?

I've found loads of plugins and standalone proggies that do the 2D version. But I'm looking for one that outputs a 3D image of frequency changes over time. Sort of like this one, but without that geezer's face...

Any clues would be appreciated

Look at the bottom example (the Aphex Twin one). Does anyone know if this is for real? If so, how was it created?

Thanks dogger. I'll give it a go.

I think the Aphex one might have been done with Metasynth which lets you feed pictures into it and turns them into audio somehow.
