This was such a massive release... possibly the best thing either the black dog or surgeon have ever done. The first time I head this, which is months and months ago now, I knew it was a totally fantastic record, ridiculously good, one that creates a completely new template for the techno-meets-dubstep continuum. Superb - Soma really should have pressed up more copies in the first place.

And the bass soldier remix! So much bass it's painful...

Cheers Paul, wasn't sure if this would fly but it's gone so well, we all had daft grins on our faces when it sold out after 4-5 days - really nice feeling, just like being a kid again.

We worked so hard on the bass on this one, so much so that by the end of it all it was actually making us ill, I think we may be close to finding the brown note :)

Soma are repressing now and we have about 20 copies at the studio now. Best Yule present ever...

Glad you liked it Derek. In all the time I've been associated with Dust, this is the best thing I've experienced.

Mind you, I've heard a near final version of the new Black Dog album in the studio, and it's ace! Loads of hooks, loads of atmosphere, rippling bass, the odd touch of melody - actually much better than it has any right to be...

Just received this, along with the Book of Dogma compilation throught the post. They're both fantastic. Especially loving the Surgeon mix.:)
