whats the deal with these? are some 'better' than others, and if so why?

everyone seems to use either azureus or utorrent, but azureus has recently done a realplayer and decided to expand massively and turn into some massive system-memory devouring media behemoth

utorrent runs nicely in the background, is absolutely tiny, well laid out, and seems to be well respected by those who know about these sort of things
