When one refers to classic reggae entertainers, Freddie McGregor comes to the forefront. An internationally acclaimed singer, songwriter, producer extraordinaire, Freddie has served a remarkable 40 years in reggae music. McGregor's career began with Ernest Wilson and Peter Austin to form The Clarendonians, and began to record for the legendary Studio One label. Freddie worked with producer Niney the Observer during the late 1970s and.his popularity soared in the early 1980s with the release of Bobby Babylon. Other popular hits of Freddies include Big Ship, Push Comes To Shove & the lovers rock anthem Just Dont Want To Be Lonely The Congos are the world's greatest roots vocal trio, famous for the Lee Perry released, "Heart of the Congos".
