Club Red Shooting

Sad to hear about somebody being shot dead outside the Fordshouse party at Club Red (Limehouse) at the weekened. The London Paper reported that it was a 'funky soulful house' night. Wonder if the police have been following recent dancefloor trends and will add funky house to grime on the list of club nights that must be discouraged because they may attract young black males with access to firearms. Will they be able to distinguish between London-style funky house and plain old fashioned funky house music? Do they follow threads at Dissensus to spot musical mutations and their socio-economic fanbase?

one night they will raid one of these events find people with guns and drugs den the bubble will burst. Hopefully not, but some of these dances have become intimidation festivals.

You'll definitely want Tadow - Rising Son, out on Invasion I believe.
Also the Geeneus remix of Benga and Coki's Night is really good too, and also available as a 320 mp3 digital download from Juno and Bleep. I think NG's "Tell Me" came out too officially a little while ago - big tune, if you can get over the immensely shit vocal.

Yellowtail isn't out yet but I'm greatly anticipating it. It's the best track I have heard from the whole scene so far.

I've been looking for "Rising Sun" for ages online, aswell as Fingaprint "The Print". I live in Sweden, so waltzing into a record store isn't an option. if anyone knows where I can still get these, do tell. :)

i cant listen cos im at work but im pretty sure that one is by Malice

tune i can't get out of my head, amonst many, is Producer Mario - Mario Play The Bloodclaart Bass. also its a bate one but Sirens by Hard House Banton is an outrage. Little Silver – Seasons. Spyro's remix of Mr Bean and that refix of Darqueness that Footloose is playing are my highlights of the outrageously fucked side of things. Ory, none of the above are available yet though

The only mix I've been listening to lately is that Marcus Nasty 1Xtra takeover. Rinsed isn't even the word.

As for hard house banton's "sirens," I have that tune, have done for a couple of weeks now. I wasn't aware it wasn't "out"

Is it me or is he not actually that good as a DJ? I like the tunes though.
