Eddy Current Suppression Ring Raw garage rock from Melbourne, Australia. Fantastic records, crazy live shows. My Disco Again from Melbourne - Ultra minimalist, tight as hell, hypnotic rhythms, wailing feedback guitar assaults. Awesome band.

So Wiley's just cancelled his show tonight in Melbourne. No details as to why yet... I am gutted.

Hmmm, Wiley's apparently touring Australia in January. But will he show up??? Wonder if he'll bring anyone with him...

Saw Dizzee live in Melbourne twice in the last two days. The new material stands up really well live. He had thousands of people packed in to a big top tent going absolutely mental, hundreds of kids dancing to original nuttah (awesome to see given that most of them would never have heard it,)...

Limewax is heavy, heavy, heavy. Worth seeing if you're in to hearing some modern day extremity from a young gun.

Haven't really heard any grime out and about lately, but dubstep is certainly taking off in Melbourne. There are a few shows happening every now and then, and many dnb nights are now booking dubstep djs to mix it up a bit.
