yeah England were poor in the second half, much thanks to
Sven's decisions and probably a bit due to the heat (it was
hard enough to sit on the couch, a cold drink within short reach).
Germany and Argentina have looked the classiest team
so far, with best management maneouvre award so far going
to Beenhakker for Trinidad&Tobago vs Sweden today.
Soon after going down to ten men vs Sweden what does
Beenhakker do? Instead of bringing on defensive cover
and play 4-4-1 he brings on an extra attacker and goes 4-3-2.
What a (chess) player - he does the unexpected (in a positive way)
and gives the Swedes something to think about as well as making
sure that the Swedes cannot go in full on attack mode. And almost
wins the game as well. Genius.
A move Sven would never think of, nevermind have the guts to do.
