On the money with the regaaeton stuff, I tried picking up some reggaeton cos the beats are so similar (you might like DJ NG Gavin, it's what the UK house scene has been doing for the past year, v similar) but didn't really concentrate on it long enough, got distracted! Would love to hear a mix of that and some kwaito

Yeah I thought that was the case too but I checked in the youtube link and couldn't find them, musta been some other posting, I'll find em again eventually

hopefully this will make me proud to be african-right now i am not. Maybe i should be, maybe im not supposed to be, but i am not. This is more laid-back, urban kwaito with rapping in a great rasping brogue. He's rapping in I think Sotho but if anyone knows the language for sure I'd love to know, I still can't quite tell sometimes between Sotho, Khosa and Zulu (embarrassing). Mavusana also appears to have worked with DJ Mujava (see above). I love this album.
