yup...that was where i first heard about a number of artists who went on to blow up.

BTW, i bought the three LHF eps as mp3s and burned them on to one 72-minute cd, makes for a great pre-album album.

Sad new about the Pitchfork column. Haven't read it for a while but at one point was absolutely essential reading and of course key to both scenes development.
