Been listening to the Elijah & Skilliam/Kode9/ Terror set today, SO GOOD, new tunes sounding great, nice to hear some more variety from him.
Great on the mic too, proper entertaining :D

Can't wait for the album

Hold on, grime music aint meant to be danceable

This is probably one of the reasons grime never got bigger?

Terror is so much better than Wiley.

doesnt have to be danceable but yeah, his tunes dont have much in the way of groove. theres always something a tad 'awkward' (?) or sophisticated about them. you can hear that hes spent a lot of time finetuning every last bit and where everything should go - hes obv a total perfectionist - but maybe from him doing that the tunes dont have that certain energy (or groove) you get in a lot of grime, even the most undanceable stuff.

terror is a genius but apart from maybe cock back, his tunes dont have visceral impact. they dont hit you in the gut how a tune like wheel or morgue does.

so morgue was not a complete rip off of wonders what or did wiley come out with something like wonder stole the idea from him?

Eskimo was a good track, yes i agree, so was igloo and ice rink

but Terror is still using the same sounds pretty much as Wiley was back then and his stuff sounds ill

Wiley is an MC/DJ/Producer in that order

Terror makes beats, horrible horrible beats

How easy is it to go and make a Wiley clone beat? I dont see people copying Terror?

yeah it was a rip off but you can go listen to that avalanche cd of wiley beats and see that although he does those lopsided cbeebies theme tune type beats like igloo, he also does a lot of tracks that are just HARD too. terror doesnt really do that type of track. which doesnt mean theyre not good, but does make him more of a producers producer, or a fave producer for people listening out for complexity rather than something that will get ten reloads in a rave (which is prob why people dont go copying terror, as well as the fact that its prob just harder - but saying that, i love a lot of the old eski rip off beats by other producers anyway)

you've hit the nail on the head there.

that why I probably like him over Wiley because he is a producers producer.

Terrors beats just go sooo deep
