Have not heard of half the RA top 100 including the no1. Glad to see Harvey in there though. Probably my favourite dj this year even though I haven't listened to anything he's done after 95...
the ra list is pretty indicative of whats been popular this year and i dont think anyone can argue that jamie jones has had the biggest year of any dj.
Yup, and I'd add Crosstown Rebels to those two. I've really tried with that stuff, but I just don't get the appeal. Actually no, I get the appeal - "quirky" yet simple disco and pop influenced tech house with vocals - but I just find it incredibly dull for the most part. Although, as trilliam pointed out, there's no arguing these guys have had a huge year both in terms of popularity and in terms of positive feedback from critics (mostly RA).
Btw, can anyone post a link to the RA list? I've gone to the site and it gives me an error message everytime I click on it.
