Someone listed Rumble by Link Wray - that's good until you hear Fat Back.

Sorry that sounded really rude which was unintentional. Rumble was the much more original and groundbreaking track which was considered too dangerous for radio at the time - Fat Back is the same again but better but in the history of music whatever that is it's not nearly so important.
