I can just about buy Jaime as utterly amoral (as distinct from evil per se) in that he's driven only by his love for Cersei and their children. Well, child, these days. Which is why I think the writers fucked up so badly by making his reunion with Cersei after his lengthy captivity so nonconsensual. Every scene where they're together since then has had this unspoken feel of "Oh sorry about that time I raped you, btw" "Ah, don't mention it" about it.
