chief keef - back from the dead 2 (the rapping isnt what you would call 'great' but hes got personality, and hes one of the most interesting producers around right now IMO, i wish he produced more)
dj quik and kurupt - blaqkout (spacey, west coast funk rap)
YG - my krazy life (basically a document of the mustard sound, and an update of traditional west coast rap)
vince staples - summertime
earl sweatshirt - earl (i like this and the vince staples one just as displays of brilliant, characterful rapping, even john cale likes earl)
future - ds2 (never been that sold on future, but this is his best album i think, simply as hes not being that mopey, and and the beats are truly monstrous)
telemachus - in the evening (this is a british producer, the songs with rappers on here arent great, but if you delete them, the album becomes an excellent modern trip hop-ish instrumental set)
young thug - 1017 thug (this is still his best release IMO, just cos IMO its the only one where the production consistently matches what he does as a rapper)
kanye - yeezus
