Hes tweeted 136,000 times since 2009 which by my basic maths is 11k a year or 30+ times a day, consistently

I can't name a single clever or memorable thing he's done in that whole time

Today's epiphany was pretty memorable for somebody who actually gets paid to comment on politics.

If he wasn't so stupid he would have kept quiet about this level of ignorance on a key subject in his area of professional expertise, but instead he's decided to draw attention to it in the confidence that all of his colleagues and followers will congratulate him on his blinding insights, all of which occurred to plenty of people 20 years ago, most of whom don't get paid to have them.

He's written a book, How to be a Liberal. He tweeted pretty in depth on the Brexit negotiations.
But I agree with Craner, a moral sense of the enormity of what you're opining on, and honest, doubts, should be built in to your thinking.

You can imagine how fucking enraged I am today at the sight of this idiot getting across-the-board plaudits for writing an essay about critics not being critical enough:

Yeah, you and your mates are partly responsible for this world.

When reading Dorian, we should never forget the day he asked his Twitter followers to provide him with a historical example in order to finish off an article he was being paid to submit.

O9A INSIGHT ROLE

he missed a trick there - I would have used that to write a second piece about the wonders of "crowd sourcing" articles as the future of journalism - democracy in practice, blah, blah..
