Here's some notes I made on my phone in 2017, when I first started going to twh which might be appropriate for this thread
This new music
Is it gradually whitening black music?
Its like a de-racing
Wheres all my PANI at
Its not grime. The black mc gets removed first.
Then the music itself gets more technical
Its like jungle into drum and bass
Grime into ice and weightless
v1984 is important cos it lends another sense of diversity
Its not black, its korean
Why does this matter
The music has to become safer, has to be cleaned, in order to cross over
The music must get cleaned

Theres no colour in there
Its like a bleaching
Or turning the colour black and white
Focus on certain elements
First to go is the voice
All too human
The removal of voice is the quickest way to remove location
No accents
Also removes gender
The music then nedds to change, needs to become more complex in order to hold the interest? Maybe, maybe not.
Some grime instrumentals are better on their own
If all the colours go in
And piss comes out the front
All light and liquid
