ooh me pleasethis makes them into a sacramental object yes.
I was in liverpool a few years ago and had just gone to the cathedral then we went to get a coffee and the guy, the way he was holding his cup, there was something very ritualised about it. those cups, the ones with the plastic lids where you get the little hood and the hole, they are chalices basically.
that line is something i've put into my novella 'smog'. i'm no longer working on it, it's finished. available upon request.
This cover is quite interesting. I quite like the curve of the oranges but I was thinking, what a weird bland background. But there's something going on, so I put it into gray scale and sure enough, theyve done a clever tonal register thing where they are stepping it up one at a time in tones, so the background pops a little as darkest colour
This is basically the colour scheme i inadvertently have used for the dissensus "dark" style,must have been lodged down there in the murky subconsicousI thought of this straight away,
which i remember thinking when it came out was like the very latest footwear design
maybe they are depressed
