There's a shit ton more of this stuff. The first wave 93/94 is the best, 95 on its mostly cash in car ad business, but there's a seam of obscure quality that has mostly been unmined and is all cheap as chips on discogs.

There were! I distinctly remember not picking this one up at the time as it seemed like a lazy reworking of Ignorance from the FP album. Its pretty nice actually.Looks like there were also Foul Play and Sounds of Life remixes of The Shamen in 1985?

None of these tunes are all that good really. A garage version of this thread would probably be more fruitful, but I can't remember the names of the tunes any more, my memory's shot.

One problem jungle faced remixing non jungle tunes was the tempo would never match so all you could do is sample a bit of it, like here. So more often than not they’re entirely new tunes with a bit of the original stuck on and so the quality of the track depends on how good a tune the producer wants to give away.
