Good music in unexpected places

I just went to YouTube to listen to something and, on a whim, clicked on one of the news links that came up, which I never do. A jolly tale of three people being killed in Nottingham, but what's that on the soundtrack? A surprisingly pretty good John Carpenterish synth workout, like you might hear during a stakeout scene in a gritty 80s crime flick.

From the start, and then starts up again around 1:10 after a brief bystander interview:


The second part has a bit of a beat that makes it sound like something from a video game.
