Ben’s in DC gets a lot of attention but even as a dog topping it isn’t good. Philadelphia is a tough starter city because the food is so ridiculously ott. It has a watered down Italian-American presence now and one cheesesteak covers 99% of what you could choose

Trying to find Leo’s map of the US as seen through a NY filter. Agree with visiting the Pacific but it’s a vast coastline and San Diego isn’t the Pacific Northwest. I’d prefer Washington state to SCal just for the trees
