This is cool! I've queued up your comp for download, soundslike1981, and the tracks on the WFMEU blog. Keep `em coming...

I might hunt down the DJ Hell comp too seeing as I like the proto EBM stuff..

I was really jealous when you announced your previous NDW CDr last year, Matt... :(

Apart from the recent Pyrolator Wunderland reissue I don't think I have much/any of this stuff (do Conny Plank produced albums count? And I liked the Nina Hagen tracks on the radio when I was a kid) but it's an area that definitely interests me. I did listen to Les Vampyrettes at a mate's place, if that counts.

One thing I got recently 2nd hand on the cheap is the Cyberaktif album from 1990 I think which has a nice motorik Deutsche Disco track called "Les Paradiessiets" with Blixa Bargeld guesting on vocals and piano. But seeing as it's so late in the game it's probably more of an NDW "revival" thing...

from Mr. Lucky M:

PS: go to the last adress, where you can find the complete discography of Die Tödlich Doris (VERY EXPERIMENTAL BAND FROM ALEMAGNE) - you have to go there via the web-archive link - the mp3's are not there actually, but they're still active, if you find them ----- and the web archive archives nearly everything. try it!

Reigniting this thread with a request for names/tracks on a NDW mix that was passed to me back in the late 90s. Figured there's enough Neue Deutsche fanaticism in this forum to nail 'em down.

I've upped it to http://rapidshare.de/files/31748899/NDW_Mystery_Tour.zip.html

It's about 130Mb in size, 9 "tracks" consisting of what appears to be A- and B-sides to singles. A rather nasty charge of jagged guitar, synth squelch and feral narrative, if that's an incentive.

Thx,
Doug
