thats a pretty unfair comparison

cache is haneke's best and barton fink is far from the coens' best. the appeal lies in its coenness rather than in the ways it strays from their best

also it was something they did as a means of dealing with severe writer's block that set in during Miller's Crossing

oh, it was more a comparison between an open-ended movie that annoyed me and one that didn't. I really wasn't saying anything about the coens vs. haneke! (nor do I care that much about that!)
