I remember her being photographed with the book, but I'd never heard about her reviewing it. If it's real, wow.

You seen the stuff about her possibly being a Reddit mod?

Apparently she was reading Boris Johnson's book on Churchill and some book on her and Epstein before the FBI arrested her in New Hampshire.

I've started to wonder whether she was Epstein's handler or something. Apparently she basically ran his life for him, organised everything and was always in the background, plus her father was supposed to have intelligence connections and she apparently worked closely with him up until his death and it was him who introduced her to Epstein.

Read this on Bob Maxwell last night;

She can speak three or four languages; is a French, British and American citizen; can program computers; can pilot submarines and helicopters; has a degree from Oxford in history and languages, seems to be able to pull money out of thin air and has connections to all sorts of people.

If she wasn't some sort of spy then she certainly had the makings of one.

I went and watched a few clips of her to see if I could get a feel for what she was like and she seemed completely ordinary, just a friendly, middle-aged woman. I suppose that might be even more unsettling than if she were very obviously a monster - banality of evil and all that...

There are some photos where she looks much harder and colder though;

One thing I've found distasteful about the reporting is an undercurrent in some of the pieces suggesting Maxwell herself was a victim and that Epstein was the sole villain, despite several of his accusers having said she was an active participant in not only the trafficking operation, but also the abuse itself.

It's weird, isn't it? Some people love the idea of a villainess, but for others it's like a logical impossibility.

I've heard some pretty murky accusations about her forcing these young girls to eat her out, stuff like that. Certainly doesn't paint a picture of an unwilling participant.

One Christmas, a very big billionaire threw a very big party in his very big apartment. Maxwell swept in and scanned the room, her eyes falling on two young sisters.

“Oh, my God, look at those girls!” Maxwell exclaimed, according to a friend. “I didn’t realize that they’re so beautiful! Can you introduce me to them?”

“Ghislaine, why would you want to meet them?” the friend asked. “Wouldn’t you rather meet their parents?”

“I’d like to meet them because I know Jeffrey would like to meet them,” Maxwell explained.

“And that,” the friend recalls, “is when I realized something was very strange.”

I dunno how you have a story like the above in an article that also features this line...

"For a moment, as the two friends chatted, the old Maxwell burst through: the Oxford-educated, knows-everybody-and-everything Maxwell, the woman who wanted to save the oceans but couldn’t seem to save herself from the men in her life."

I mean, come on.
