Here's a review of Blak Twang's set from the Bashment Vibes section of New Nation, 27th March 2006...

"A few weeks ago Bashment Vibes took a trip down to Heatwave, a monthly reggae event held at the Rhythm Factory in East London. This popular club night, which has been running for over two years, regularly features PAs from Britain's hottest reggae and hip hop MCs.

At the last event rapper Blak Twang aka Tony Rotton was the main attraction and bwoy, did he tear up the mic. Although best known for his hip hop flow, Twang proved he could hold his own when it comes to spitting over bashment beats.

Trus' me, we were well impressed with the Stalag version of his biggest hit, So Rotten, and a fresh lyric which uses the melody from Nanko's hit, Lucky You. Tony, you've just been inducted into the Bashment Vibes hall of fame!
