looking into this now since I can't hear a damn thing w/ my iPod on the subway on a volume level that won't destroy the hair cells in my ears!

The v-moda vibe looks pretty cool, although it's a little pricey (for me), and the sound isolation might not be tops:

I was being serious, I geniunely liked the way those headphones looked. However upon seeing him....ewwwwww! EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!! EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

actually, I'm being quite mean. The CEO posts a lot at headfi, and replies to PMs. He seems genuinely into being connected with his customers, and their customer support is reputedly great. I'm mighty tempted to pick them up ATM....
