yeah i wouldnt mind hearing crazy d or spaceape recite 'mcdonalds' or do a wesley-esque ode to croydon in a dubstep style.

Outsider Art also includes the mental illness, or potential mental illness factor, which I don't think applies to Boxcutter yet, but we can live in hope. It did, however, apply to Wesley Willis

i saw wesley willis live in albany, ny when i was a teen. he was righteously pissed when everyone kept asking for the hits, like "cut the mullet" or "i whupped batman's ass." he would stop playing, headbutt a few people, then scream weird obscenities like "suck a llama's bloody dick!!" over and over. i almost bought some of his original art work (crayon on construction paper), but it was too expensive :(

has anyone seen the documentary on Wesley Willis? Sad man, but with lots of good friends...

Yeah, it's very long but he truly was a god. And I think gumdrops is onto something there with getting SpaceApe to cover Willis, it'd be um proper deleuze-like.
