keep an eye on rowdy! in NYC. we had the last one last saturday and it went down proper. we're overlapping with anything bass heavy and dutty, but the focus is def bassline.

This thread is taking some weird directions, man. I think people are getting this sound confused. People who I wouldn't think would, either, based on prior posts.
Basshunter is bad scouse house, as said above. Not to say that all of that scene is shit, mind, I could play you some alright club tracks I think. Diverting, though.

lol, I only added the Basshunter video as I thought it was interesting that the Platnum track was being released on the same label as it. A similar aesthetic for the video has been used to market both tracks that reminds me of teen music channels like 'Fizz' (think that is the right name?). I will stop just posting videos and add some writing for future posts here!
PS - keep an eye out for Jamie Duggan's 2 second cameo at the start of the Platnum video

Nah, the harder "Sunrise" end of it from a few years ago isn't bad you know. Some of it was pretty out there all things considered, got dragged there a few times and it wasn't half bad.
If we're talking Pleasure Rooms or Club Isis shit, though, I completely agree. By and large, it's horrible daft music for kids on pills. With some limited exceptions.
It's difficult coming from London's "urban" music to Liverpool's really. Mainly because there isn't one.
