Trocabrahma: King Creosote meets Romulo Froes fusing Scottish folk rock with contemporary Bossa Nova. KC and his band visit the market in Sao Paulo, marvel at the pigs trotters and eat fruits you wouldn't wear. We meet independent Brasilian label Mondo Melhor records and new bossa singer Julio Bareto and hear about new bossa, samba and maracatu music in Brasil. King Creosote's band talk about how they found the collaborative process, and then get Romulo's side of the story. Kenny from King Creosote learns a little Portuguese and there's exclusive live music from Trocabrahma gigs, recorded for the Trocabrahma podcast in Sao Paulo in May and the UK in July 2007.

Andrew Weatherall Mix: This week Soma launch the debut of their new mix series 'Sci-Fi-Lo-Fi' mixed by non other than Andrew Weather all. in total agreement. i've merged these threads into one "trocabrahma" thread.

these should have been put in this forum from the get go. things like this piss me off.

Just trying to promote some projects I personally work on as well as some work from dissensus members.
