I recommend Marcus's latest show. Think Blackdown has a new tune on it, whole set was pretty hype. Some tunes get 4+ reloads.

OK I've gotten round to giving this a couple of proper listens now. I wouldn't say I love every single tune on it but overall I like it and I can sort of see why people were getting excited about it.
There's still a few stretches with too many wobbly tunes in a row for my liking (though some of the tunes themselves are great) and there's maybe also a few too many gassed reloads for tunes with the exact same kind of drop as x amount of others (do people really get excited like that over and over again?). But compared to last time I was listening to Marcus (around November/December last year) it feels a lot fresher and more varied and has a better flow to it.
Perhaps the most promising thing is that in terms of beat programming there's a lot of patterns that sounds fresh while still being clearly uk-funky-ish, 'cause perhaps last year there were starting to be a few too many tunes with the same basic snare pattern. And yeah Blackdown's tune with the GQ samples is big. :)

Now I just have to listen to Eastwood's podcast, the Funkystepz mix and Benny's new mix... I'm like a fat kid with cake here.

Yessssss, nice one mate. :D
For those who don't know it/have forgotten it, this is Knocking At My Door by Andy J and & S-Tee, a top vocal tune from 2009, full of those blaring brass riffs that Benny was on about the other week. Guaranteed to put a smile on yer face.
