I remember them being more like electronic gangsta-ska. Programmed beats rather than breakbeats if I recall correctly. Very heavy music press hype, round about the same time the Streets were getting big and I think connections were often made even though the sound was different. As Ory says, they had one early single that kind of dwarfed the rest of their work, can't remember the name of it which maybe says something, haha. It was quite good though.

At the time a lot of people, including myself, though it sounded bit like Madness if they were trying to act hard. :)

Also going by youtube, it was them that did the crap remix of Shot Me Down by Nancy Sinatra. Ah well.
