It seems there might be some better music things going on in Glasgow than I generally think there are, if you look around. Maybe the grip of indie's 25 year reich is beginning to loosen!

i don't even know what desi and screwed n chopped are...

i've listened to some properly woeful music in my time... but anyway, there shouldn't be any such thing as a "guilty pleasure" where something as subjective as music is concerned, take the context of scenes and clubs and music-geek cred away from it all and it's as inherently ridiculous as feeling guilty for liking pineapples or jogging. the only things that would truly classify as a guilty pleasure would be if you were into incest or genocide or something.

There isn't much point in getting too worked up about not having omniscient knowledge of music. Any given person who has a deep passion for any kind of knowledge must understand that it is a task that, while endeavoured upon with vigor and voracity, will never be completed.
